All of us desire to experience God’s work in our lives. We desire God’s power to save, heal, deliver and work miracles both personally and for others. Very often, we expect a spectacular display of God’s power, something that will “wow” us. While it is true that God, by the power of His Holy Spirit, will demonstrate His work in spectacular ways with signs and wonders, we must not forget that God also works by His Word.

FREE BOOK: The Mighty Name of Jesus
Every believer has been blessed with the wonderful privilege to call upon, speak, and use the mighty name of Jesus. The disciples of Jesus and believers in the Early Church understood the authority that was at their disposal through the use of the name of Jesus, and they walked in it. This book attempts to help the believer re-discover the power of the name of Jesus and teaches how to walk in the power of that name in everyday life.

In life, all of us feel the pain of being offended. All kinds of things could cause an offense. Sometimes, the smallest of things can offend us. We feel hurt. Somebody said something that offended us. We did not receive the opportunity, the recognition or the promotion that we thought we deserved. We get offended. Once we take offense, it begins to work inside us and ultimately affects us in more ways than we can imagine.

FREE BOOK: Speak Your Faith
As I look back on my own personal spiritual journey in Jesus, one of the disciplines or practices that has helped keep me strong is that of speaking my faith. I remember from my early teenage years as part of my daily time with God, setting aside about 30 minutes or more, just declaring God’s word over my life, my present, and my future. I would go from A to Z, speaking God’s Word over diff erent areas of my life and declaring who I am in Christ.
What is the most effective way to win souls and make disciples? What instructions did the Lord Jesus give His disciples when He sent them out to impact the world? How are we to impact our communities, cities, and nations with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ? How do we validate the message that we preach? How did the Lord Jesus do it, and how did the apostles do it?
This book is intended to be a simple and easy-to-use training manual to help believers understand and learn how to fl ow with the Holy Spirit in order to release the gifts of the Spirit. The goal is to see believers moving and releasing the gifts of the Spirit regularly, anywhere, and at any time as the Spirit of the Lord moves through them. For a long time, probably due to a lack of proper equipping, believers have had a wrong perspective on the gifts of the Spirit.
Marriage and family are fundamental to our lives and the building blocks of the local church and society. The strength of a local church is often determined by the strength of marriages and families in it. Similarly, the strength of a community, society, or nation is infl uenced to a large measure by the strength of its smallest unit—the family. When marriages break up and families disintegrate, the strength and fabric of society begins to weaken. The strengthening and securing of marriages and families are therefore vital, both to the local church and the larger community.
The dictionary definition for “gossip” is “casual or unconstrained conversation or reports about other people, typically involving 2 details which are not confirmed as true” (Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary). Gossip typically, is idle talk or rumor, especially about the personal or private affairs of others. It is the spreading of misinformation about people. In this book, we will use the following terms interchangeably—gossip, backbiting, slander, backstabbing, whisperer, talebearer—although, there are some finer differences in the meaning of each.
This is a study outline intended for use as a personal study guide, for use in small group discussions or as lecture/ seminar/conference notes. FREE BOOK: Don’t Lose Hope
All of us begin life’s journey with many dreams, goals, ambitions and aspirations. With a great sense of excitement, we make plans about what we want to do, where we wish to go and what we want to become in life. But somewhere along the journey, we are sure to run into some stormy weather. Life is not always easy. We often wish that life was as simple as a storybook, but it does not always turn out that way!
FREE BOOK: Breaking Bondages
Some of the problems people face may have their origins in previous generations. Some of this may have been caused by someone who led a sinful lifestyle or had been involved in demonic activity in a previous generation. For instance, in a family, the grandfather may have experienced bankruptcy, and this may have passed on to one of his sons. This son may have had children and some of them might have also become bankrupt. So, generation after generation, one or more people may have been affected with the same type of problem.
FREE BOOK: Integrity
All of us have many stories to tell about the corruption we see in the world, especially when we visit government offices and other places. We encounter corruption, dishonesty and bribery almost everywhere. It seems to be the norm. Dishonesty, cheating and lying seem to be acceptable as long as there are reasons for doing so. However, it is really sad when we see dishonesty, unrighteousness and a lack of integrity among God’s people— us—because at least we should know better!
You and I are God’s “own special people.” If you are a Christian—a believer—you qualify! The Bible explains that the reason we are “a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people” is because we are supposed to be proclaiming, publishing, and declaring the praises, the excellencies, the wonderfulness, and the attributes of the One who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. So, when people see us, Christians, they need to see how excellent, virtuous, perfect, and wonderful the God who called us IS. You and I are here on earth to make God look good!
We see several Christians suffering and being trapped amidst almost inescapable pressures. Our theology explains that God allows His people to go through and encounter difficult times so that they could profit from them and be strengthened. But are all such experiences of suff ering and difficulties God ordained? If we were to pause and examine things a little closely, we would be able to identify definite decisions and choices that eventually led to the predicament that we sometimes find ourselves in.
